In the past 10 weeks Linda had reduced her waistline by a whopping 16.0 cm / 6.3 in!

Who I am
I’m a girl with a lot of energy and have been involved in sports all my life. I started playing soccer as a child and developed a passion for the sport. Even though I’m not all that tall, I was still able to become a successful goalkeeper. I played at a high level for years until I suffered a serious knee injury which put an abrupt end to my career.
After my soccer career was over
But as you say: “When one door shuts another door opens”. After knee surgery I was introduced to weight training as a tool in the rehabilitation process. It would still take some years before I started working out seriously though. After my soccer career was put to an end, I started working in an office. It turned out that going from doing sports every day to working a desk job had serious consequenses for my body. I gained 25.0 kg / 55.0 lb of bad weight!
Finding the right job
Soon, I realized that a desk job wasn’t for me. I’m an active girl and need to work with people so I started taking different classes trying to find my place. I took a course as Sosu assistant (caretaking & cleaning) and then massage therapist and arcupuncturist where I found my place. I’ve been working within this field for 12 years now.
Surrounded by athletes
I own a successful massage and acupuncture clinic where I treat a lot of athletes. Funny enough, I’ve found my way back to soccer but on the other side of the fence. I’ve treated amateur soccer teams as well as the Super League and the 3F League for women. I’ve also had a professional cycling team as my client. Being around athletes every week has made me realize how much training and health becomes a lifestyle. I was intrigued by the thought, but wasn’t sure if I could do it… Read: Had the willpower… At the time I was playing a little soccer now and again for fun, reading books and enjoying good times with family and friends… It was all good… but I wanted more!
Here I come!
In the past 2 ½ years I’ve been working on loosing the extra weight I had gained through the years. I’ve lost a good deal of weight through diet and weight training, but I still have way to go. I’ve been feeling that I was stuck in one place and I was loosing motivation. So I went to Evolutionhotel to start up fresh. I’ve made a goal with Helle to compete at a bodyfitness competition! I’m very excited about it. It’s about time now that I really get serious and dig that willpower out of the closet and challenge my body & mind! Here I come!

Linda’s weight topped out in 2008/09. She was 94.0 kg / 206.8 lb at 163 cm / 5 ft 4 in, unhappy with herself and realized she had to stop the bad cycle she was in. Since making the decision to change her body (& mind) she has made an incredible transformation.
In the past 10 weeks Linda had reduced her waistline by a whopping 16.0 cm / 6.3 in!

Status now is 69.0 kg / 151.8 lb and progressing!
